- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was referred to Dr. Shapiro about 3 years ago when my hair started to thin after my third child was 2. As most women are devestated with hair loss (and embarrassed), I was looking for a Dr. with some understanding and also someone who would explain in detail why this was happening. I spent more time in the waiting room than in his office and when I was in his office I was poked and prodded by a student that could barely speak English. I found Dr. Shapiro to be cold, insensitive and completely indifferent about my situation. I'm wondering if he is the only hair specialist in Vancouver? How can this man have a successful practise given his complete lack of "bedside manner"? I can not warn people enough...if you want a caring and kind hair specialist, stay far away from this man.by A Google UserSeptember 22, 2017
