Reviews about Lifemark Physiotherapy Keefer Place
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I attended the WCB funded head injury clinic at LifeMark on Keefer Street. My primary OT/Vestibular therapist wrote a report using words like Strongly did not suspect a Vestibular problem, malingering, exaggerating. The few assessments I had where not completed, scored, dated, nor did they have my name on them. I was later diagnosed with a rare Vestibular condition at VGH. I complained to the COTBC (College) and my primary OT/ Vestibular therapist got a significant “Consent to Reprimand” WCB also wrote a Haits report stating this person was practicing out of their field and can not make opinions on assumptions. My life was a nightmare for years because of this. All is good now because I got the help I needed on my own and through WCB. My advice is don’t be afraid to be proactive in your own care and speak up.by J. masonMay 04, 2018
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Lifemark was amazing during my recovery! Leading up to surgery and post rehabilitation they were so supportive and accommodating. I had a couple different OT's with different methods and levels of involvement and Lifemark was great with matching me to an OT that suited my changing needs. It was also a huge weight lifted to have someone help cooridinate all medical professionals and rehabilitation therapists that were needed for my recovery. I felt a huge amount of reassurance and encouragement. Overall my team helped me stay positive and motivated during a lengthy and difficult recovery.by Tammy JoleneJanuary 04, 2017
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Abeed Hirji is a wonderful therapist for people suffering from vestibular distress. I have bilateral vestibular injuries and Mr. Hirji has been extremely helpful to me. I like how we go slowly, step by step and don't rush things. I am certainly more able to cope with my vestibular problems now than before I started working with him. The exercises have made a huge difference in how independently I can live my life. Mr. Hirji listens carefully to everything I say and takes my comments and questions seriously. He is a kind man. I highly reccommend him if you are suffering from Vestibular problems.by Laureen GriffinDecember 25, 2016
