  After having several bad experiences with dentists over the years, including a sensitivity to dental freezing and pain during routine procedures, I finally found Dr. Judy Gough about 8 years ago. Dr. Gough is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. She is kind and patient, and always takes the time to explain what is going on in layperson's terms, even when things are technical. She goes out of her way to make sure her all of patients are comfortable and understand what is going on, and is just an overall kind person. She is also a highly skilled dentist - family members and I have had complex work done by her, and she does a fantastic job and always does it perfectly (and painlessly - which is amazing given my degree of sensitivity). She will refer out patients to specialists where necessary also, which is great as she really cares about the patients and ensuring things are done right, with the patient's best interest in mind. Given my experiences with Dr. Gough, I had no hesitation bringing my kids to her when they started getting their teeth, and she is so fabulous with them as well. A mother herself, she can really relate to children and make them feel safe, interested, and engaged. (Quite unlike me at their age) my kids LOVE going to the dentist, as Dr. Gough has gone to great measures to make it fun for them. She even gave me tips when I was pregnant to ensure they had a great start with their teeth, telling me things that I wouldn't have otherwise known. All in all, Dr. Gough is a fabulous dentist and great person, and I keep going back even though I have moved out of Vancouver and now commute for up to 45 minutes just to get there. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere, and highly recommend her services.

  Dr Gough, I have seen Dr. Gough for several years. Her staff are very knowledgeable, professional and do excellent work. Dr. Gough is equally skilled, and an excellent dentist. Her manner is very professional, listens to her patients needs and does not overprescribe procedures or unnecessary tests. I highly recommend anyone looking for a well rounded and balanced family dentist to visit her office.

  I have been searching for a really good dentist for many years, and I can finally say I found her! Judy Gough is fabulous! Finally, I have found a dentist who is not only excellent herself, but one who has surrounded herself with an excellent team! In the last 20+ years, I have found a good dentist, but the hygienist was rough, rude, and rushed. Another time I found and amazing hygienist, but the dentist did poor work, and gave me a hematoma. There was also the time I thought I found a good dentist until he took the liberty of filing two of my front teeth because he thought it made my teeth look better! The myriad of others are not worth mentioning. I no longer dread going to the dentist. Judy is current and professional, patient and informative, gentle in character and technique, personable, and doesn't rush you through. I could not be happier or more at peace with any health care professional.
