  I was advised to give Dr. John a visit regarding dental implant surgery by my partner who had nothing but good things to say after receiving Invisalign treatment from him and I must say I was not disappointed. Now a 30 year old, I have been in and out of dentists and orthodontists for the majority of my life having my palate broken and widened, wisdom teeth pulled, braces installed and tightened time and time again and I must say that Dr. John is right up there with the best of them. After discussing the implant procedure/surgery with Dr. John I decided to go ahead with the procedure and to my surprise was able to book in to have the first stage completed within three weeks of my initial visit rather than months and months out as I expected/was told by other dental professionals. Having the first stage of the implants installed was incredibly easy and painless, I was simply given local anesthetic and off we went! I brought ear-buds to try and drown out the sound of the drill but it really wasn’t an issue as Dr. John was very precise and quick with his drilling. I even started laughing when he began placing the posts in my upper jaw as the sound of the ratchet clicking away was slightly comical as I was expecting a much more traumatic procedure by that point! After less than 30 minutes I was stitched up with two new posts in my upper jaw and sent home pain-free with only mild tightness that reminded me of having my braces tightened back when I was a teenager. I followed the antibiotic regiment carefully but had no need for the Tylenol 3’s that were prescribed as I never had any pain! Within a few weeks the incisions had healed to the point where my tongue can barely tell they’re there! I recently went in for my follow-up X-rays and eagerly await the installation of my new teeth! I would highly recommend Dr. John to anyone in need of oral care!!
