  Life changing procedure! However, I inquired about having the next day follow up appointment a little later than my 8:55 am due to us travelling from Bowen Island and inconvenient ferry times, but was informed this was not possible. I was waiting until well after 9:30 and the surgeon didn't arrive at the clinic to complete the exam until after 10 am. Not very accommodating given I could have avoided a 5:30 am wake up and recuperated for two additional hours on Sunday morning with an appointment only 20 mins later (there's no 7:30 am ferry from Bowen on Sundays). The procedure itself was not 'painful' but very uncomfortable - well worth it for the results thus far!
