  Originally I was very unhappy with the fact that a prescription could not be delivered to me when I was very sick in bed, especially considering that other Shopper's Drug Marts had done so in the past; notably Fraser and 47th, and Cambie and No. 5 Road in Richmond. Both of them had no trouble delivering the prescription but this pharmacy did, claiming that it was against the law. However I will note that since then, the customer service has been more than satisfactory and that the staff have been friendly and helpful. In light of this customer service I have increased my rating for the store.

  I went in to take photos for my Chinese visa application. The lady helping me, Maria, was absolutely rude to start with. I understand it was 9 in the morning but that's no way to talk to a customer. I sat down, had my photo taken and showed me the cut photos. They both had black rectangular trim marks on all four corners of the photo. I know for a fact that the Chinese embassy will not accept photos with trim marks on it because they are extremely strict when it comes to photo requirements and standards. I told Maria that I can't have trim marks on it and she said she would cut them off. When she handed the photos to me in the sleeve at the cashier, the photos still had the trim marks, so I told her again nicely, I can't have the trim marks on it. She took out scissors and started trimming the photos in front of me and handed me 3 photos that did not have straight edges and were completely irregular shaped. I told her that this isn't my PERSONAL PREFERENCE, it's for a VISA APPLICATION and they for sure WOULD NOT accept photos that were cut like a 2nd grader had cut them with scissors. She said if they rejected it I could go back to shoppers and retake them. I don't have time for it to get rejected. It's 10 am now, I have to drop off my photos and application at the embassy by 12 because that's when they stop accepting applications. I need to get my visa approved by tomorrow because I'm flying back to Los Angeles tomorrow night. Maria, I know you hate your job but I don't have time for it to get rejected. I'm a very busy person and I don't pay for service that isn't service. Horrible attitude, horrible service (other Chinese lady working at the register was very nice). I would NOT recommend getting your photos taken here; I only did because I live across the street and it was the most convenient place for me to go. Somebody that treats their customers like that should definitely not be working as assistant store manager. She should definitely not be working front line because that is not customer service.

  I recieve the best pharacy care at this Shoppers. They provide me with a personalised experience by remembering my name everytime I come in. I appreciate service like this. I highly recommend this location.
